Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Kigali
Private welcome and check-in to a luxury boutique hotel in Kigali, with an orientation city tour and welcome dinner.
Days 2-4
Akagera National Park
Three days at a luxury tented camp, with game drives across Akagera's savannah and a boat safari on Lake Ihema in search of the Big Five.
Days 5-7
Nyungwe Forest
Three nights at a top-tier forest lodge, with chimpanzee trekking and the Nyungwe canopy walkway.
Days 8-9
Lake Kivu
Two nights at a luxury lakeside resort, with a coffee and tea plantation tour and time to relax by the water.
Days 10-12
Volcanoes Region
Three nights at a luxury lodge in the Volcanoes region, including a full day of mountain gorilla trekking and a golden monkey trek.
Day 13
Dian Fossey Campus & Free Day
A visit to the Dian Fossey research campus, followed by a free afternoon at leisure.
